Shell Game chat is now open
For any subscriber with questions or musings about the show, come ask (or tell) me anything
Hello Shell Game folks, just a quick note that I’ve opened up a live chat on the ol’ web site (which is made through Substack, if you haven’t caught that previously). Since lots of people, including and especially me, have had some big feelings about the show, just wanted to offer it up as a place to share questions or observations.
It’s for all subscribers, free and paid, so think of it like a group chat for Shell Game aficionados. I’ll post some occasional Shell Game-connected stuff that comes my way, whether about AI voice agents, or under the grander rubric of “things that are not what they seem” (our show’s tag line).
Join at your leisure, or pop over and lurk, whatever’s good. Instructions follow.
In the meantime, I was on Mike Pesca’s podcast The Gist this week, in a long two-part interview about the show.
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
